Severely disabled persons benefit from special rights of protection. If the employer is willing to terminate the employment relationships with a handicapped person, the notice period is at least four weeks. The employer must obtain the consent of the Integration Office. However, if the disabled person is hiding the unfortunate circumstances, a particular protection for dismissal will not apply.
If a severely disabled person receives a dismissal from the employer, he/she shall have at least one month to declare his/her conditions. The severely handicapped person can terminate with statutory deadlines.
